Professionally, I'm a Data Scientist & developer-turned-inventor/entrepreneur with analytic and research experience in healthcare (clinical data) and economics (micro, macro). I'm actively seeking new clients and employment opportunities (primarily contract/consulting, but open to permanent positions) in data science, analytics, programming, and related areas. Feel free to reach out to me regarding employment opportunities directly via email, or visit my LinkedIn Profile or Work With Me page for more career-related information.
Personally, I'm a friendly, nerdy individual with a wide range of interests, from technical (computers, science, data) to common (fitness, reading) to utterly arbitrary (ethnic food, Armenian, development economics). I tend to be enthusiastic and a bit quirky and love to learn and to try new things.
A Backstory: Graduating from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio with a dual degree in Physics and Economics, I stuck around for a year as a Research Assistant to several faculty -- but primarily to two brilliant professors named Dr Justin Gallagher & Dr David Clingingsmith -- until departing to teach for the U.S. Peace Corps in Armenia. After returning stateside, a had a great couple years working at Explorys to create industry-defining technology & analytics to generate population health metrics.
In Subsequent Years, I split my time between a few project projects ranging from corporate wellness to genomics research.
At Present, I proudly continue to work with MatchTx to improve cancer care, and have started data engineering work with Healthjump - a healthcare data migration & analysis company.
In the Meantime, I spend way too much time walking and playing with my wonderful dog Maisie and experimenting too wildly in the kitchen* for my own good.
* While there are more cooking successes than failures, I have too broad a palate to be a fair judge. My waistline says it's all success, so I've also taken up rowing.

- As part of the team at MatchTx striving to make personalized cancer treatment more accessible, less expensive, and more efficacious than ever, I apply data science & analytics to a cutting-edge tech stack, generating patient networks and cohorts based on individual genomic profiling, explorable through dynamic visualizations and real-time patient matching.
- In Project Management & Business Analysis with Martini Media Group, I served as a liaison between the technical and non-technical components of internal and external (clients') teams, as well as providing general coordination of project efforts. On the more technical side, I provided web development for a major corporation's client-facing portal, as well as being responsible for QA & Testing of multiple Ruby-based mobile applications.
- R&D and market validation for fitness technology startup Zenith Fitness, focused on developing minimalistic aftermarket hardware combined with cloud-based services making personalized fitness accessible to everyone, from occasional gym-goers to hardcore fitness-freaks.

Backed by experience in analytics, research, and programming, I'm always looking to create new relationships. With some happy clients under my belt, and a few more underway, I'm excited to find new partners, new challenges, and new possibilities. Take a look at my skills & experience, and feel free to get in touch at any time for more information. |
